TDR funds specific research projects in diseases of poverty, which cover infectious diseases and the culture and environment that contribute to these problems.

We fund research designed to find innovative ways to develop new drugs, barriers to the insects and worms that carry the parasites, diagnostics and other tools against infectious diseases in developing countries. We also look for new ways to distribute and increase access to these tools.
